Art is for everybody, used to say Keith Haring, one of the most popular street art figures. Keith Haring (1958 – 1990) became interested in art at a very early age. Originally from Reading, Penn, he moved to New York City and joined the School of Visual Arts (SVA) where he found a new purpose and quickly became friends with emerging legends such as Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Haring discovered a new home, a new community, alternative and underground, developping by itself outside the gallery and museum system. He then started developping his own style, using simple and thick outlines with bright colors such as orange, creating some of the most iconic pop art images such as twisted kneeling figures.

His work truly inspired us for what we are right now.
